THE PROJECT IN 30 SECONDS

A short automotive film built for distribution.

  1. What it is

A 27-second cinematic sequence following a Mazda CX‑5 across an Irish beach at sunset.

  2. What it tests

How FPV movement, landscape and a recognisable vehicle can hold attention without turning the film into a conventional product walkaround.

  3. Where it lives

One master idea published across YouTube, Instagram and X, with this page giving the work a permanent, search-readable home.

WHY THIS EXISTS

Automotive motion can carry the whole story.

This independent studio test shows how Rain Digit can make a vehicle feel present through movement, place and timing rather than a long explanation.

  1. The vehicle remains the visual subject while the beach, mountains and sunset create a clear sense of place.

  2. A moving aerial perspective gives the CX‑5 scale and direction without relying on static beauty shots.

  3. The 27-second duration is short enough for social distribution while still allowing a complete visual arc.

  4. The final film and this story are Rain Digit studio work, not a commissioned Mazda campaign or an endorsement by Mazda.

THE BRIEF

The problem.

A car film can become generic when it shows only the vehicle or only the landscape; the two needed to feel like one scene.

The edit had to establish the coast, keep the CX‑5 readable in motion and finish before the idea lost its energy.

THE METHOD

The build logic.

Track the vehicle from changing FPV angles while preserving the sunset, shoreline and mountains as stable visual anchors.

Choose a concise 27-second sequence that moves from scale to proximity and back to a wider coastal view.

Publish the same core film across three channels, then connect them to one owned story page with local imagery and structured metadata.

THE VALUE

What this proves.

A finished commercial-style automotive proof film for the Rain Digit portfolio.

A reusable production pattern for vehicle, tourism and location-led social films where one strong scene has to work across several platforms.

A permanent search-readable destination that clearly separates studio experimentation from commissioned client work.
